What does a Sport and Exercise Physician do?

1. Assessment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries and medical illnesses in the exercising individual.
2. Management of "return to sport", activity and prevention of injury recurrence.
3. Exercise prescription in the management of disease.
4. Advice and management of team travel, anti doping, medical screening, performance and event coverage.
